Went to see the Zutons on Thursday then went and saw Foo Fighters at Wembley on Saturday, with the special guest of Jimmy Page And John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, which was a treat.

This is going to be a bit of a rant that hopefully won't apply to too many of you but needs to be mentioned.
Recently Story skateshop in Sheffield announced it was to close it's doors after little over 2 or 3 years of trading, this was a skateshop owned by someone you should all know: Mark Baines. Which will be a great shame for the Sheffield scene as Story was the only Skater Owned Shop in the city and it put back into skateboarding by helping out with local Comps and sponsoring a load of local talent.
However despite all this skater's (who most likely attended the comps and were stoked on the riders etc) would rather spend their cash at route one or on ebay just to save maybe a fiver, rather than waiting a week longer and get it from a S.O.S. instead.
So all in all this is a wake up call to the people of this area, who attend comps at Leiston and Beccles yet still buy mail order from chain stores and on ebay, that look locally at your S.O.S, otherwise there may not be anymore comps etc.

Chris and Benny B skived off to Yarmouth park because it rained for about 15mins on Saturday.

First little road trip of the summer went down on Sunday, with what might have been called the A47 West Tour though we didn't leave Norfolk.
Started up at Hunstanton at Lifestyles 2007 on a weird wooden ramp set up on the seafront, where Tommy and Ash crashed the demo!
Then after a bit of wandering, onto Dereham Skatepark where ash found some glass, and was denied use of a police broom as a result!
We left the park to pop down the road to these flatbanks I've wanted to skate for ages. Tommy got Varial Heel, Ash got Tre Flip and Double Flip, LDN Tom got a nice Nollie 180 and Sharman got a Kickflip.
Final street spot of the day was TESCO stairs where Sharman showed Tommy and Ash up, by Ollieing them first try. Tommy got something too but you'll have to wait until Friday night to see that!

The time to skate Leiston skatepark is at 8 in the morning before all the kids on bikes appear. Although they are there before school too.

I've been busy going to premieres and doing the skate media whore thing of starting a magazine Revert Magazine, first issue to hits skateshops across the UK mid October.

Well Tommy and Mini Badge had a gap jumping day today, Tommy re-did the Hospital Gap and they both did the Albert Pye stair set. Mini-Badge, Tommy.

Went back down to Leiston skatepark today to find it's covered with kids on bikes.
So we went to the school there, which has this little drop that you can sit a picnic table next to, and Tommy pulled a 5-0, and Sharman got a Boardslide.

Went to Leiston's new skatepark yesterday only to find it needed to stand idle until the concrete has cured fully. Meanwhile Matty C. sent me cool this clip of Mini-Badge.

Trip down to new park in Dagenham today, Tommy chucked a huge Frontside Flip, Ash had a ollie on to the first block then Back 5-0 and Crook the top block.
