This year's Beccles Skatepark competition went down extremely well on 6th August with loads of people turning up to enjoy a day filled with some awesome skating. We were lucky with the weather again this year with it keeping nice and dry, but not boiling hot!

Skater's came from Beccles, Halesworth, Lowestoft and Ipswich to compete this year with around 35 people entering in the main competition, with more entering the best tricks on the flat bank and mini-ramp.

Thanks go out to Beccles Youth Forum for help with organising the event, Smash Skates for helping organise the event and donating prizes, Premier Garage who donated £20 to buy refreshments, Red Cross for their first aid cover for the day. Sponsors who donated prizes including Creme Skateboards, Eothen Skateboards, Death Skateboards, Extreme Sports Channel, Edge Riders of Ipswich, A4 Distribution, Blueprint Skateboards, Karma Skateboards, Puzzle Video Magazine and Smash Skates.
